A new version of Orienteering......

Like traditional orienteering, each course consists of a sequence of points marked on a map that must be visited in sequence. However, instead of a full-size paper map, your smartphone will only show you the current map segment with an intergated compass along with details on your progess and hints to prevent you getting lost.

Select your own time and pace...

No need to wait for club meetings as our courses are available whenever you're ready. Engage in competitive action with rankings for each leg or enjoy as a recreational activity. This enriching outdoor pursuit is perfect for any active person or adventurous group.

Yes, I got lost, but I was soon back on track! I loved the whole experience but especially the helpful warning when I got too far off course :-)

Researchers found that running increased lactate, BDNF and memory to a greater degree than walking. Spatial memory skills, in particular, increased the most in those who ran while orienteering. The more vigorous the orienteering, the greater the benefits. Remarkably, even a single orienteering session improved spatial memory in our study participants.
